drinking a can of soda is better than not drinking anything at all. “junk” food is better than no food at all. just rinsing your mouth out with mouthwash is better than no oral hygiene at all. changing into a different set of pyjamas is better than not changing at all. getting up just to sit down on the chair across the room for a bit is better than not getting up at all. changing just your pillowcase is better than not changing your bedding at all. cracking a window open is better than getting no fresh air at all.

if you don’t have enough spoons for full tasks, smaller adaptations are better than nothing at all. it’s okay if you don’t have the energy to actively fight today. just staying afloat is enough. you are enough.

sometimes being visibly queer is terrifying but sometimes it is the best and most wonderful thing in the world

when the person helping you at the store is also visibly queer, and they’re holding it in but you can tell they’re just so happy to see you. to say hello. or when you meet an older queer person and they are So kind to you, like they’re determined to be a good thing that happens to you today. or when someone on the sidewalk picks you out of everyone to ask for directions because they know you’re safe. when you walk past someone and clock each other and make the smallest eye contact, just to say i see you. thank you. we’re in this together

It’s good to be with family

Borrow books, share pdfs, email ebooks. Understand that academia is expensive. Make it more accessible, help someone gain knowledge. Dismantle the disparity with second-hand books and hand-me-downs. Share. Share. Share.

hi, as you guys know i have been struggling financially for awhile and i made a mess this winter with our electric bill. i live in an old house that is pricey to heat and i was taken off the payment assistance thing because i failed to make the payments as i didn’t have enough money and now this is our electric bill. electric shut offs resume in the spring and i know i absolutely will never have the ability to pay this off as it has just gotten out of control. i’m going to be calling the electric company to see what i can do about resolving this but i’m already on a payment plan for a previous balance so i don’t know. i have content to sell as well as services i can do online in order to make enough to pay this off. i appreciate anything at all, i am trying to take care of the other aspects of our life with my paychecks but i am just so behind with everything. i more than likely won’t have enough for rent again, so again anything helps. i appreciate you guys so much. thank you. our cashapp and venmo are unclefather

I also hate to be annoying again but my landlord sent me this message and my daughters daycare withdrew yesterday for $170 and put me back into the negatives. I have stuff to sell if you message me!! Please just let me know if I can do anything in return for help with these bills
